EmpowerHome is searching for a talented Staging Consultant for a part-time, project-based role on commission. This position is ideal for staging professionals who shine in client consultations, communicate clearly, and can offer actionable advice to home sellers.
This job involves helping homeowners prepare their properties for listing on the market. The Staging Consultant’s role is to help accentuate key property features, improve room to room flow, and enhance buyer appeal, while upholding EmpowerHome’s high standards.
The Consultant plays a direct role in selling staged homes, which have proven to sell up to 50% faster and for up to 20% more than non-staged homes. The compensation for this position is of $150 per staging consultation.

The primary focus of the role is Walk & Talk Consultations. The Consultant is expected to conduct in-home consultations with homeowners. Being able to provide clear and confident guidance on de-personalizing and decluttering, making layout adjustments, and preparing the home for the market is absolutely key.
The job also requires recommending strategic updates to enhance spatial flow and buyer appeal. After each consultation, the Consultant should be able to provide a step-by-step report or checklist to homeowners.
Maintaining open channels of communication with listing agents and sellers is mandatory, as is efficient project management, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.
Apart from Walk & Talk Consultations, the Consultant will also support staging projects and collaborate with real estate agents and homeowners to stage homes for sale. The consultant is expected to execute full and partial staging projects, ensuring each property aligns with its architectural style and target buyer audience.
To qualify for this role, experience in home staging, interior design, or real estate is required. Current students or degree holders in Home Staging, Interior Design, or a related field are welcome. Candidates should also have a strong understanding of design principles and spatial awareness, be tech-savvy, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must be highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
The ability to lift and move décor/furniture is a must as well as willingness to travel locally with a flexible schedule.
