There’s a job opening for a Staging Assistant which involves helping stagers with various duties. It’s a position ideal for those with a design or creative background who love sprucing up spaces and desire a career in home staging or interior design.
Task duties fluctuate based on location and circumstance, as well as the individual’s experience and abilities. Generally, a Staging Assistant’s day-to-day role involves offering admin support to the lead staggers, managing staging projects, helping clients declutter their space, and moving, loading, and unloading furniture and decor pieces. The role also calls for light cleaning, taking stock of furniture items across several locations, and staging tasks such as measuring rooms and moving heavy furniture.
Applicants need basic design knowledge, creativity, good interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail. They must be flexible, willing to travel around northern Utah and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. The most important qualification is a desire to enjoy the work and integrate well with the team.
Working hours are flexible for the most part, starting around 9:00 am and ending around 5:30-6:00 pm. There are full-time and part-time positions available. Pay rate is dependent on the individual’s experience and abilities; however, the starting rate is set at $14 per hour, with opportunities for advancement.
