Responsibilities incorporate fluctuating duties based on the location and circumstances, and they’re also affected by factors such as personal skills and experience. Regardless of these variables, the Staging Assistant is expected to routinely tackle tasks like:
Offering administrative help to lead stagers; taking charge or supervising staging projects; aiding clients in declogging their living areas; arranging, loading, transporting, and offloading furniture and decor items; superficially cleaning and polishing furniture during staging; maintaining an inventory of all furniture and decor items in the warehouse and elsewhere.
Other duties include handling staging aspects like measuring rooms and pieces, moving hefty furniture, and hanging artwork.
Essential competencies for this role include basic design abilities, a creative streak, interpersonal skills, attention to minute details, and adaptability. The individual must also be open to travelling throughout northern Utah, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and most importantly, possess a wish to enjoy work and gel well with the existing team.
Work hours are relatively flexible, usually beginning around 9:00 and wrapping up around 5:30-6:00. Both full time (32+ hours) and part-time (20+ hours) roles are available.
Compensation is experience and skill-based. The starting salary is at $14 with opportunities for progression.
