The job title is Staging & Design Mover/ Installer. This role entails moving, loading, unloading and setting up furniture during client deliveries and pick-ups. The person is also required to pack and unpack items in a planned and efficient way in readiness for staging. Adhering to inventory protocol and using the tracking system is another part of the job description.
Responsibilities also encompass transporting furniture or decor, loading and offloading, as well as furniture or decor set-up. The installer will be in charge of organising the warehouse, hanging artwork and providing light cleaning and touch-up services for furniture or decor. Driving company vehicles may potentially fall within their role.
In terms of skills, the company is looking for someone with excellent communication capabilities, attention to detail, self-motivation, resourcefulness and the ability to work well with others. The person also needs to be physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs. Having knowledge of how to pull a trailer is beneficial and preferred but not a must. Reliable means to commute to work is a requirement too.
The working hours can be somewhat flexible but in general, the days start around 8:00 and end around 5:30-6:00. They are looking to fill both full-time (32+ hours) and part-time (20+ hours) positions.
The payment depends on the candidate’s experience and abilities. The starting pay range is $16 – $19 per hour. This is an in-person role and is open for both full-time and part-time appointment.
