The job title is Staging & Design Mover/ Installer who will be responsible for the movement, loading, unloading, and setting up of furniture during client deliveries and pick-ups. The job also requires the individual to pack and unpack items in an effective and orderly manner while preparing for staging. Part of the tasks include following inventory procedures and utilising the tracking system.
The responsibilities and duties of the role are broad but include transporting furniture and decor. The job also involves loading and unloading items as well as setting up furniture and decor. It requires the individual to organize the warehouse, hang artwork, and perform light cleaning and touch up of furniture and decor. The job might involve operating Renew vehicles.
The skills and qualifications for this role include strong communication skills, paying attention to detail, being a self-starter, resourceful, and cooperative with other team members. Furthermore, the candidate should be able to lift 50 lbs. Possessing knowledge of pulling a trailer is beneficial and preferred with reliable transportation to work also being a necessity.
The work hours are somewhat flexible, however, usually, the day starts around 8:00 and ends around 5:30-6:00. Both full-time (32+ hours) and part-time (20+ hours) positions are available.
The pay depends on the experience and capabilities of the candidate with the starting pay range being $16 – $19/hr. The job types are full-time and part-time with a pay of $16.00 – $19.00 per hour. The job location is in person.
