The firm, based in Salt Lake City, is a gem in the field of interior design, home staging and floristry. The company, founded by the ingenious Eleanor Ramirez in 2016, consists of a hardworking team of six employees also has a stunning furniture store where their clients can get a glimpse of their design style and product selection.
The Interior Design Associate will be joining a vibrant team and will be responsible for a variety of design projects. The tasks include having open communications with both clients and trade partners, creating engaging renderings, mood boards, product selection and implementation. The candidate will also have the opportunity to exhibit their artistry through assisting the staging team with stages and destages on certain occasions.
Besides this, being a part of the team will involve contributing to a myriad of project types including showrooms and staging planning and installation. From creating enchanting visual presentations to reviewing contracts with clients, the role offers a spectrum of experiences.
The interior design associate will have tasks that include regular interactions with vendors, contractors, and the rest of the team. The aim is to ensure that projects are completed successfully in time. Planning and installation of staging projects will also fall under the associate’s list of duties.
They are eagerly looking out for an associate having a background of 1-2 years in the industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. A flair for rendering software like AutoCAD, Revit or Chief Architect is a plus. They would love an associate with knowledge in design software such Adobe Cloud, or Canva. The candidate needs to have the ability to work independently along with fitting right into the friendly team.
Understanding building codes and regulations, and a keen eye for detail is highly appreciated. The candidate must possess exceptional organizational skills. The willingness to lift heavy furniture and handle labor on certain days is a requirement. Having a car is a must as they might have to travel to project locations. They need to be computer-friendly.
The post will be on a part-time basis and the candidate can expect to get paid anywhere between $19.00 – $21.00 per hour depending on their qualifications and skills. They can expect to work for approximately 24 hours per week.
