Currently, Voila Staging & Design is expanding rapidly. They’re interested in hiring capable home staging design assistants to their vibrant, fast-paced team.
As a home staging assistant, you will be tasked with numerous responsibilities. These include selecting and packing various items such as accessories, artworks, lamps, pillows, bedding, and furniture as instructed. You will also assist the design team in loading and unloading vehicles.
Styling properties will be another core function, encompassing duties like furniture placement, accessorizing, hanging artworks, steaming bedding, and hanging window and shower treatments. You will ensure the properties are clean, and all doors and windows are properly locked upon completion.
Other designated tasks include restocking and maintaining a tidy warehouse, cataloging new inventory into Voila’s database, and overseeing the entire process of de-staging, including meeting movers for de-staging, supervising movers, ensuring all furniture and rugs are vacuumed and wrapped properly, and restocking de-staged items and accessories in the warehouse.
Ideal candidates should be punctual, able to lift 35 pounds consistently, highly organized, detail-oriented, and can do much bending and lifting. They should maintain a professional appearance, possess a positive attitude, enjoy being part of a team, and have a flexible schedule based on the jobs and locations of the stages. The work hours are from Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, and weekly hours range from 25 to 35 hours depending on activity.
This role is for independent contractors who have their own insurance and can handle their own tax obligations. The pay rate is $18 to $20 per hour for part-time work. The job also offers a flexible schedule.
