Staged by Design®, a reputable home staging company based in Loudoun, is currently searching for a new team member. They’re a high-performing company, handling over 400 consultations and staging 100 vacant and occupied homes yearly. This role requires conducting on-site home staging consultations and generating follow-up documents as required. The successful candidate will work with property owners and real estate professionals, and should be able to overcome objections when necessary. They will be leading both vacant and occupied staging projects from estimation to installation. This entails meeting and coordinating with clients, crafting the staging plan, working on selecting and coordinating all inventory in the warehouse, creating sales orders in their inventory system, scanning inventory, overseeing loading of furniture for transportation and installation, managing on-site staging, and the final design decisions and execution of the staging plan.
The role further involves the de-staging of vacant and occupied homes. The successful candidate may be requested to work two to three partial Saturday shifts every year. There may be the need to receive and assemble furniture on occasion. The candidate will also collaborate on redesigning projects.
This role offers the chance for cross-training in other operational aspects and will also involve performing other tasks as assigned.
The individual should have a keen eye for detail, able to lift 40 lbs. without a problem. They should be computer savvy with a good grasp of Google Docs, Excel, Word, and able to type at a minimum of 40 words per minute. They will work out of the Sterling office and travel to clients’ homes. This role requires at least one year of previous home staging experience in a lead role. A related design field associate degree or higher is preferable, as is a staging certification. They must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be open to travelling throughout Northern Virginia. They should be able to work productively both independently and with a team, successfully multitask, think on their feet, and be a creative problem solver. Employment may be conditional on passing criminal background checks and/or drug screenings.
