Candidates should possess a valid driver’s license and feel comfortable operating a box truck. They should also be able to operate basic tools and assemble furniture, accomplish regular warehouse chores, be physically fit and capable of completing manual tasks such as lifting, standing, climbing stairs, among others. Potential employees should be capable of hanging different types of wall hangings and artwork, able to follow instructions, and be adaptable enough to offer assistance to the team as needed. Maintaining a respectful and professional relationship with colleagues and clients is essential.
The role includes responsibilities such as moving and storing furniture, and delicate accessories, loading and unloading the moving truck, organizing the warehouse inventory and accessories, staging and clearing properties, hanging art, and carefully handling and treating the inventory of the company as well as client properties.
The position is part-time and offers a pay rate of between $17.00 – $19.00 per hour. Expected work hours range from 20 – 40 per week, mainly during the day shift. The job requires physical presence at the work location.
