The established Loudoun-based company, Staged by Design®, is looking for an experienced home stager who can also manage and monitor the inventory used to create stunning designs.

With its well-respected reputation, Staged by Design® has an impressive track record, handling hundreds of consultations and physically staging homes annually. In 2025, the owner was acknowledged as one of the most influential stagers across the country and has received recognition for their contributions to the design industry.

The chosen candidate will have various responsibilities. These include conducting on-site home staging consultations, collaborating with property owners and real estate professionals, and handling objections smoothly.

The role also entails working on staging projects from estimation to installation, which would involve creating staging plans, coordinating inventory, overlooking the transportation and installation of furniture, and making design decisions.

The individual will also manage the de-staging process of homes and may be required to work on partial Saturday shifts annually for special events.

Another part of the job is ordering, receiving, and assembling furniture, planning and organising the warehouse, and selecting styles for upcoming projects. The person may also be expected to collaborate on redesign projects and take on cross training in other company operations.

Some prerequisites for this role include attention to detail, the capability to lift 40 lbs with ease, proficiency in Google Docs, Excel, and Word, and the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. The applicant should also be located in or around the Sterling office and be ready to travel to client homes.

Experience in Home Staging or Design is a requirement, and an associate’s degree or higher in a related design field is preferred. A staging certification is highly recommended, as are a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

The individual should be capable of working independently, but also join well with a team. Multi-tasking ability and creativity in problem-solving will be beneficial attributes.
