This job opening is for a Warehouse & Operations Lead at a rapidly expanding home staging and design company where the warehouse is the hub of all their activities. They are seeking an individual who is prepared to step up, assume responsibility, and evolve into a leadership role as the company expands. This position been identified for advancement potentially into a $65,000+ leadership role.
Exceptional performers in this role can expect to see income growth correlated with the expansion of responsibilities. The initial salary range is from $45,000 to $55,000. Other benefits include two weeks paid vacation, paid major holidays, sick pay, and options for health, dental and vision insurance.
Further more, they offer bonus opportunities tied to performance. These include $250 per month for on-time installations, $250 per month if the warehouse passes inspection, and $500 per quarter if inventory loss is kept at minimum levels.
This role is unique in its opportunity to evolve into a Warehouse Manager or Operations role. The person selected for this position will be instrumental in determining the way the warehouse operates and will have a direct line to the CEO or Operations leadership. The duties of the role entail running daily warehouse operations efficiently and in a structured manner. Standards of organization, cleanliness and care of inventory should be set and maintained. Duties also include managing inventory tracking, ensuring accuracy always, coordinating and executing scheduling logistics for installations and warehouse pulls, and identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the growth of better systems.
Ideally, they are looking for someone who can take charge without waiting to be told what to do. Somebody with a strong leadership capability who holds others accountable. High level organization and attention to detail is required, as is comfortableness in a fast-paced, physically active environment. Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or moving positions will be preferred.
