For those with a passion for live entertainment and a formidable work ethic, a rewarding opportunity presents itself with the role of General Stagehand. This position is integral for the seamless functioning of concert tours, festivals, and various live events in and around Seattle & Tacoma. The hired individuals will provide labor for multiple local venues, collaborating with some of the most reputed production companies in the business.
Although the positions are seasonal and on-call (W-2), potential candidates should be prepared for fluctuating hours. This includes night shifts, weekends, and holidays. There is no fixed minimum guarantee of hours per week or month.

In terms of physical prerequisites, the candidate should be capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. Consistent walking, standing, bending, stooping & twisting will be part of the on-site tasks.
Additional requirements include having a reliable source of transportation, understanding general industry terms and principles, and being versatile in carrying out varying stagehand roles. The candidate should be willing to work in both indoor and outdoor environments under fluctuating weather conditions.
Teamwork and good communication in English, for ensuring safety and coordination with the crew, is expected. The candidate must also adhere to Rhino’s dress code for concerts and corporate events. Other requirements are a minimum age of 18 years, a high school diploma or equivalent, and having an open availability is a plus. Any prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
The compensation on offer for the role is commensurable with the candidate’s skills, experience, and education level.
