Studio Walsh Interiors, a staging and interior design company, is keen on employing a seasoned Lead Home Staging Designer. They want someone with a sharp design eye, assertive leadership capabilities, and the knack to execute top-notch staging installations efficiently and accurately.

The Lead Designer is accountable for setting the creative path for every project. They ensure a uniform, market-ready presentation that resonates with Studio Walsh Interiors’ design standards.

Their primary duties include forming and executing the total design vision for each staging project. They’re responsible for directing, leading, and mentoring junior designers and design assistants.

The successful candidate will be overseeing the selection of furniture, art, accessories, bedding, and styling with final design approval. They are expected to use the Stageforce app for furniture selection and staging detail management.

Design crew direction and management, both in the warehouse and on-site, is part of their duty. They should maintain efficient workflow with clear communication during daily installations.

Other duties include conducting pre-stage walkthroughs and design consultations, incorporating photography and detailed notes, and traveling to staging locations within the Seattle area while operating from the Lynnwood warehouse.

They may be needed to source and shop for premium design furniture and accessories as and when required.

The ideal candidate should have professional home staging experience of a minimum 1-2 years.

The ability to lead and manage a design team in a rapidly-changing environment is integral. A strong design sense, excellent spatial planning, attention to detail, confident decision-making skills, and polished communication skills are also essential.

The candidate should be able to multitask, adapt effortlessly to schedule changes, and should be professional, reliable, and highly organized. A reliable vehicle is needed for the job, with mileage reimbursement.

The role is hands-on, and the successful candidate will need to move between the warehouse and properties. Comfortable yet professional attire and footwear are advised.
