The role is to furnish houses for sale to underscore their prime features. This Staging Stylist position forms part of the company’s growth, augmenting the existing team that reports to the Staging Director. Training will involve learning to provide luxury client service and unrivalled results.
Most of the furnishing selection is done by the Staging Director who also sets the style and tone for the house. The job for the new addition will be placing and arranging these items at the location. Some Staging Assistants will be there to help with carrying, moving, and some styling.
Large things like sofas and dining tables aren’t the responsibility of the Stylist since they have movers. However, within a day, the Stylist alongwith the team, will completely furnish a house. Sure, the work isn’t back-breaking but it is physical, similar to what a caterer does.
The job is mostly seasonal, especially from February to September, with multiple stages per week plus prep time. Such timings make it a part-time job with full-time work from March to August. The majority of work locations are on Bainbridge Island and the rest in Kitsap County.
This position commences at an hourly wage of $25 with possibilities of a raise post 90 days based on reliability, work ethic, and talent. Mandatory requirements include a current driver’s license and a reasonably clean driving record to drive their vans. A background check is a must since work will be conducted in people’s homes.
