They are searching for a Furniture Mover/ Driver for Home Staging who has at least one year of experience in moving furnishings. It’s crucial that you have previously driven a large truck up to 24 feet. Having a manual transmission driving experience is a big plus.

You must have a dependable vehicle for commuting to and from their warehouse situated in Lynnwood, WA. Physical fitness is important as you could be required to lift/carry/push/pull weight between 50lbs – 100lbs with the help from assistants.

They demand a professional, reliable, approachable and cool-headed individual. A good to excellent proficiency in both written and oral communication skills is important. High school or GED education is desired. You must have a current valid driver’s license along with proof of current insurance.

They expect a clean driving record with a 2-year abstract. You should have a cell phone with a data plan and a checking account for auto deposit payments. The work environment is smoke-free and they expect that you refrain from smoking in their warehouses or vehicles.

The job will involve proficient driving of a 24 feet truck. Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of more than 50 lbs on a regular basis is a large part of the job. However, help will be provided for dealing with weights more than 100lbs.

Truck and warehouse maintenance is expected, and the aim is to protect the furnishings stored there from dirt and damage. You’ll be expected to receive and follow directions from designers and stagers. The ability to use hand tools and some power tools will be beneficial, as well as being able to assemble furniture and bed frames.

Work hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm or until the job is done. At times the days may end earlier, but you will be expected to stay on the job until completion. Work might also be required on some Saturdays and Sundays when there are last-minute tasks.

This job pays weekly wages between $23.00 – $25.00 per hour. It may be temporary, part-time, or full-time. Benefits include mileage reimbursement, Paid sick time, Paid time off, and Paid training.

The schedule typically includes an 8 hours shift, during the daytime from Monday to Friday. There will be no night shifts but overtime and weekend availability could be required.

The location of this work will be in person. The preferred level of education is High school or an equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience in Driving is favourable. The only required certification is a Driver’s License.
