They are looking for an experienced interior stylist ready to hit the ground running. Initially, the new hire will be assisting senior designers to familiarize with the company’s systems, design methods, and expectations. Once trained, the role will progress into leading staging projects from initial conception to full execution.

The successful candidate will confidently manage multiple projects, working collaboratively while adapting and learning on the job. Exceptional organization and communication skills form a crucial part of the role, as it involves liaising closely with agents, homeowners, and team members at each step of the way. The interior styling role requires a competent handler who can steer assigned staging projects across a diverse range of home styles and price points. Good aesthetic judgement is needed, taking into account creative layout plans to maximize flow & function. The role also involves professional communication with clients and team members. The hired professional will execute their vision on stage day with our crew and junior designers’ help. Proactive problem solving is a crucial aspect of the job to meet the company’s quality standards.

Other responsibilities include conducting home walkthroughs with clients, writing & pricing detailed staging proposals, and mentoring junior designers as needed. Seattle Staged to Sell also has a dedicated interior design department – for those with previous interior design experience and skills, there will be opportunities to split time between staging and interior design projects. The job also involves creating and taking videos of staging designs & installation days for marketing purposes.

Candidates need to have a minimum of 2 years experience in interior styling, visual merchandizing, interior design, or home staging. A degree in Interior Design and technical skills such as CAD will be beneficial. The role requires strong visual instincts, practical decision-making skills, and proactive problem solving. Good communication skills, a positive attitude, an ability to stay organized is expected.
