Seattle Staged to Sell is a company that provides fully customized staging designs highlighting each home’s unique potential. Their team is diverse, embracing a wide range of design styles from modern to eclectic. They are currently looking for an experienced interior stylist or designer who can hit the ground running and contribute quickly to the company.
The successful candidate would initially assist senior designers to familiarize themselves with the firm’s systems, styling methods, and expectations. After some familiarization, they would transition into leading their own staging projects. This includes creating and executing design concepts and project management.
The ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple staging projects each week and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. They will be working closely with agents, homeowners, and team members. It calls for someone who can multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving and innovation.
The role offers the candidate a chance to showcase their aesthetic judgment while developing design concepts that maximize flow and function. The candidate will also have the opportunity to showcase their staging designs & installation days through digital recordings for marketing purposes.
The requirements for this role include:
– At least 2 years’ experience in interior styling, visual merchandising, interior design, or staging. Those with backgrounds in graphic design, web design, UX/UI, or other digital design fields without relevant hands-on experience in interior styling, staging, or spatial/interior design will not be considered.
– Other skills include strong visual instincts, working independently, and collaboratively managing their projects.
– The candidate needs to have a proactive mindset, solid communication skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
– An Interior Design degree & technical skills such as CAD would be of advantage.

The role is a full-time position that pays between $25.00 – $33.00 per hour. The location of work would be in-person. Further, having a bachelor’s degree would be of advantage and 2 years experience in Interior Styling/Home staging or Visual merchandising is preferred.
