The job is for an Assistant who will support the Lead Designer in home staging projects. The work schedule is part-time, with hours varying based on the number of projects. The typical workday commences at around 9 am.
The core responsibilities of this role include executing installs using existing inventory from the warehouse. The Assistant will also be responsible for packing and unpacking accessories, fine art pieces, and small furniture items. Errands will need to be run as and when required. The role includes physical tasks such as climbing stairs, lifting up to 30 lbs, and bending or stooping over as needed.
For qualifications, a degree in Interior Design could be beneficial but is not mandatory. Experience in staging or interior design is not essential but would be considered a plus.
An eye for detail is crucial, along with being creative and showing initiative. The capacity to work in multiple locations, the warehouse and staged homes alike, is required. The ability to work independently and multitask is just as important. Excellent communication skills are needed to work with various types of personnel.
