The Warehouse & Operations Associate role is pivotal in operational execution, inventory integrity, and field support. This role seeks a reliable and consistent professional who can fuel the daily operations, execute operational plans to a high standard, and prevent any task from slipping away.

This position expects the candidate to have a learning and adaptive outlook, aiming to master the current systems and offering constructive feedback to improve them. A keen eye for detail is also appreciated, spotting minute issues before they escalate into significant problems.

The role requires efficient logistic execution and field coordination. The associate is responsible for putting the daily schedule into action, ensuring the proper loading of the truck for the specific job, and briefing the crew on the objectives for the day.

While being on-site, the associate acts as the point person for the moving crew, ensuring the team adheres to the task, follows safety outlines, and exudes a professional demeanor. Identifying and troubleshooting unexpected issues, like furniture not fitting in the elevator or a blocked parking spot, also falls within their purview.

In terms of warehouse organization and standards, the associate is expected to maintain a clean, organized warehouse and manage the furniture inventory with care. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures for packing and loading is also required, along with ensuring the warehouse stays organized and neat by managing trash and flagging items in need of repair.

They are responsible for “Staging Packs”, making sure the truck has the necessary tools, hardware, and supplies for each job. The associate is expected to assist in the upkeep of the fleet by checking the fuel, moving blankets, and the cleanliness of the trucks. Their role extends to monitoring the health of the vehicles and reporting any issues timely to prevent breakdowns.

Moreover, they act as a supportive unit for the design team on-site, aiding in executing their vision by safely placing furniture, hanging art, and moving bulky items. They also serve as the last pair of eyes on the furniture before it’s presented, ensuring items are clean, stable, and well-presented.

The pay rate lies between $24.00 – $26.00 per hour. The work location is in person.
