About this role
Ashley Stevens Designs is hiring a Warehouse & Moving Coordinator in Tempe, AZ. This hands-on, part-time position supports the company's home staging and interior design operations with flexible hours that shift based on project demands, warehouse activities, de-stages, furniture pickups, and deliveries.
The coordinator handles the full scope of warehouse and moving logistics. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and maintaining staging furniture and décor in the warehouse, assembling storage racks and shelving as needed, and ensuring pieces are kept clean, protected, and stored in designated locations. The role involves pulling and preparing inventory for upcoming staging projects and installations, driving the company van for pickups and deliveries, loading and unloading moving trucks while properly wrapping and securing furniture, and verifying that all required items are loaded for each job.
- Organize, maintain, and inspect warehouse inventory
- Assemble and install storage racks and shelving
- Keep furniture clean, protected, wrapped, and properly stored
- Pull and prepare furniture and décor for projects
- Drive the company van for pickups, deliveries, and installations
- Load, unload, wrap, and secure furniture on moving vehicles
- Assist with home staging projects by loading, unloading, carrying, and repositioning furniture

The role involves frequent physical labor moving large furniture pieces such as sectionals, dressers, armoires, tables, and beds. Candidates should be comfortable lifting and maneuvering heavy items as part of a team. Experience with moving, furniture delivery, warehouse work, installation, or similar hands-on roles is preferred but not required. Prior experience driving larger vehicles or moving trucks is a plus. Reliable transportation is required; access to a truck or trailer for occasional furniture pickups is a strong advantage but not mandatory.
Schedule expectations differ from traditional 9-to-5 work. Hours and start times vary based on project requirements. Some shifts are scheduled in advance, while pickups, deliveries, or warehouse needs may arise with short notice or same-day requests. Staging and installation days may shift their timing depending on project specifics. Weekly hours typically range from approximately 10 to 40, with busier staging or installation weeks offering more hours. Larger installations can require multiple consecutive days with longer, physically demanding shifts. The position demands flexibility and reliability around scheduled projects.
The rate of pay is $25 per hour.
