Home Stager Assistant / Project Support

Stage To Move is hiring a Home Staging Designer & Project Support professional in Danbury, CT. This part-time, project-based role combines hands-on design work with operational support for high-end residential staging projects across Connecticut and Westchester County.

The position involves two core functions: styling and accessorizing spaces as a designer on staging installations, and providing project support to the Lead Stager as needed. This is a flexible opportunity suited for someone who wants to work on varied residential projects with scheduling that shifts based on project demands.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Design, style, and accessorize spaces for home staging projects either independently or alongside the Lead Stager
• Assist the Lead Stager with project preparation and on-site staging work
• Support staging installations when additional design expertise is required
• Complete de-staging projects as assigned
• Help prepare for upcoming projects by pulling and tagging inventory items
• Organize inventory and flag items needed for future staging work
• Shop for décor, linens, accessories, and other supplies as directed for projects
• Communicate professionally with team members, vendors, movers, and clients when needed
• Complete various hands-on tasks to support project execution and team efficiency

Qualifications and requirements include the following:

• Background in home staging, interior design, visual merchandising, real estate, or similar field preferred
• Strong understanding of design principles including proportion, scale, and styling
• Knowledge of luxury market expectations and standards
• Excellent organizational abilities and eye for detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Capability to solve problems and work well within changing project timelines
• Comfort working independently and collaborating with the Lead Stager and broader staging team
• Flexibility with project-based scheduling
• Current valid driver's license and access to reliable personal transportation to the warehouse and job sites
• Residence within reasonable commuting distance of the Danbury warehouse, as regular travel to the warehouse and throughout Connecticut and Westchester is required
• Physical capacity to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Ability to climb, bend, navigate stairs, and maneuver on job sites comfortably
• Familiarity with technology and comfort learning staging inventory systems and design software

This part-time position offers flexible scheduling around project needs and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced design team on luxury residential projects. Pay is $25 to $35 per hour, and a 401(k) benefit is available.
