Warehouse Associate

Motive Companies is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Milford, CT to support an interior design and furniture company specializing in furnishings and staging for luxury residential properties nationwide. This temporary position involves receiving, managing, and preparing inventory for shipment to high-end home projects.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming furniture and décor stock
• Prepare, pack, and stage items destined for residential deliveries
• Load and unload trucks while safeguarding merchandise from damage
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
• Keep the warehouse clean, well-organized, and running smoothly
• Label, wrap, and coordinate outgoing shipments
• Support furniture assembly, touch-ups, and quality assurance work as required
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet project deadlines

Required qualifications:

• Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, moving, or furniture handling
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and remain active during shifts
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Reliable and punctual with a collaborative mindset
• Experience handling fragile or premium items is valuable

Additional desirable skills include background in interior design or home staging, forklift or pallet jack operation, and basic assembly or handyman abilities. The position offers exposure to luxury residential staging operations and a stable team environment with potential for ongoing employment.

Pay is $18 per hour.
