Home Staging Assistant

Splendid & Swanky is hiring a Home Staging Assistant in Washington, DC. This contract position supports designers and the staging team on residential projects, with hours determined by project workflow and business needs.

The assistant's responsibilities include:

• Supporting designers during staging installations
• Selecting, packing, and organizing accessories, linens, props, artwork, pillows, lamps, and other items for staging projects
• Unpacking materials on site, making beds, steaming linens, cleaning furniture, and assisting with art and mirror installation
• Packing and loading vehicles at the end of staging projects
• Packing items during destaging and inspecting furniture for damage
• Creating design presentations using designer-provided templates for interior design projects
• Managing shipping trackers and coordinating deliveries for interior design work
• Assisting with contract and invoice preparation for staging and interior design projects

Candidates should have:

• One year of staging or home styling experience
• Current driver's license
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and independently
• Reliable punctuality on staging and destaging days
• Capacity to meet project deadlines and see work through from start to finish
• Comfort collaborating within a team setting
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
• Proactive approach to work
• Personal vehicle for work-related travel
• Day shift availability
• English language proficiency preferred

This position is based in Washington, DC and requires in-person work.
