A T Home Staging & Interiors is hiring a Mover & Warehouse Lead in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on managing warehouse operations and leading moving teams for home staging projects. The position involves supervising staff, operating a 26-foot moving truck, and handling heavy lifting including furniture and decor up and down stairs in varying weather conditions.
Schedule and hours vary by season and project demand, ranging from one day per week to four days per week. Individual workdays typically last between five and eight hours. The company aims to provide a week's notice for scheduling, though some jobs may arise on short notice.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Oversee moving operations and delegate assignments to team members
- Safely pack furniture and décor items, load and unload trucks, and hang artwork as needed
- Drive a 26-foot rental moving truck in a safe manner
- Maintain the truck and warehouse in organized, clean condition according to established schedules
- Document projects by taking before and after photos at each job
- Report any property damage immediately upon discovery
- Ensure a positive moving experience for clients
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- Minimum one year experience with heavy lifting
- Proven people management and warehouse leadership background
- Experience with packing and moving operations
- Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds repeatedly up and down stairs throughout a full workday
- No U-Haul rental flags or outstanding debts
- Self-directed work approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Age 18 or older
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules
- Day shift availability and ability to commute to Atlanta, GA 30336
- Experience with Connecteam software is beneficial but optional
