Deb Ellis Designs, Inc. is hiring a Professional Home Stager in Norwood, MA. This established Massachusetts home staging and interior design firm, operating for 18 years with an 8,000-square-foot warehouse and a team of professional stagers, is looking for someone with a keen design eye and strong understanding of scale and color. This is a hands-on position where the stager will transform homes into market-ready spaces.
The role includes:
- Staging vacant and occupied homes for sale
- Selecting and sourcing furniture, artwork, rugs, lighting, and accessories
- Creating furniture layouts designed to enhance a home's visual appeal
- Styling and accessorizing rooms for photography and showings
- Collaborating directly with the staging team on installations and removals
- Managing and organizing inventory from the warehouse
- Supporting interior design projects as needed
- Communicating professionally with homeowners, real estate agents, and team members
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualities and experience:
- A current, strong design sensibility
- Knowledge of furniture placement, proportion, color theory, and styling techniques
- Creative thinking, organizational skills, attention to detail, and dependability
- Ability to make design decisions quickly while on-site
- Physical capability and comfort with the hands-on demands of staging work
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel throughout Massachusetts and within a 30-mile radius of Norwood
- Prior home staging or interior design experience (preferred but not required; strong design talent and a discerning eye are prioritized)
This position offers part-time or flexible hours with potential for growth. The pay is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, and the position is on-site at client properties and the company warehouse.
