Warehouse Manager

Rentquest LLC is hiring a Warehouse Manager in Elizabeth, NJ 07201. This full-time position oversees warehouse and moving operations for a high-end home staging company serving the New York tri-state area, supporting the overall success of the organization through direct leadership and coordination of warehouse and transport teams.

• Supervise warehouse and moving crews while providing direct support and coordination
• Train team members on furniture handling, repair, installation procedures, and safety protocols
• Manage warehouse teams through performance monitoring, feedback, development, and progressive discipline
• Monitor and maintain inventory condition and security, including proper storage, handling, disposal, transfer, cleaning, and repair
• Conduct regular inspections of physical warehouse condition and inventory status
• Direct warehouse organization and special projects
• Track productivity and performance metrics for each team member
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, maintenance standards, and security protocols
• Enforce safety standards throughout all warehouse areas
• Partner with the Director of Operations to manage labor, inventory, and supply costs
• Coordinate with sales and design teams regarding inventory and scheduling needs
• Deliver consistent customer service in all interactions
• Uphold company values in daily operations
• Handle additional duties as needed

Candidates should bring at least five years of warehouse management experience. Prior background in furniture management, delivery, or home staging is valued. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. The position requires clear communication skills across all personnel levels, strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities, independent work capability, and proficiency with Google, Excel, Outlook, and similar software. Problem-solving skills and a service-oriented approach are essential.

The role operates on a standard Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift schedule. Rentquest LLC offers 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, and relocation assistance. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Bridgeport, Connecticut within the next 12 months as the warehouse location will be moving. In-person work at the Elizabeth, NJ facility is required, and a valid driver's license is preferred.
