Home Staging & Warehouse Assistant

Morphe Home Staging and Design is hiring a Home Staging & Warehouse Assistant in Katy, TX. This part-time position supports warehouse operations and staging installations across the Greater Houston area and involves hands-on inventory management and furniture handling work.

The assistant will maintain warehouse organization, sort and label furniture and decorative items, pull and pack inventory for staging installations, assist with loading and unloading, help set up homes for showings, wrap and return inventory after de-staging, inspect items for damage, and maintain accurate records. The role requires careful handling of pieces and adherence to established warehouse systems.

• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse conditions
• Organize, sort, label, and manage furniture, artwork, rugs, pillows, accessories, and staging inventory
• Pull, pack, and prepare inventory for staging installations
• Load and unload staging inventory
• Assist with furniture placement and installations in client homes
• Wrap, pack, and return inventory following de-staging
• Inspect inventory for damage and track accurate records
• Follow warehouse systems and organizational procedures
• Handle all items with appropriate care

Required qualifications include prior experience in professional organizing, warehouse operations, moving, or furniture handling. The position requires the ability to consistently lift and carry 10 to 50 pounds throughout the workday and comfort working in a non-air-conditioned warehouse environment. The applicant must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, and packing for extended periods; possess strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills; demonstrate dependability and punctuality; follow instructions; work both independently and as part of a team; handle the physical demands of the role; maintain reliable transportation; and work respectfully inside client homes.

• Prior experience in professional organizing, warehouse operations, moving, or furniture handling

The position offers 12 to 16 hours per week starting with two days weekly, approximately 6 to 8 hours per day, at $16 to $18 per hour based on experience. Growth potential exists for additional hours and days for strong performers. The role is based in Katy, TX with travel to staging properties throughout Greater Houston.
