The Luxe Design Group is hiring a Logistics Warehouse Associate in Houston, TX. This luxury home staging and furniture rental company operates across the Houston area, staging high-end residential properties. The position centers on warehouse and logistics operations that keep the company's inventory moving and installations running smoothly.
Day-to-day responsibilities include pulling and moving furniture from inventory, loading box trucks, placing décor items and art in appropriate storage, and traveling to job sites to transport and install furnishings in staged homes. The role involves furniture audits, assembly of new pieces, repairs to existing inventory, and warehouse organization. During slower periods, the team focuses on inspecting furniture, maintaining the warehouse, preparing supplies, and auditing stock. Work locations shift daily across the Houston area and surrounding regions. Shifts start and end at the warehouse, with installations occurring at various client properties throughout the city.
Key duties encompass the following:
- Handle logistics, warehouse operations, organization, and inventory management
- Move, position, and install furniture, artwork, and décor at client properties during staging and move-outs
- Interact professionally with clients during installation and delivery
- Communicate effectively with team and management to support smooth operations
- Spot challenges and propose practical solutions
- Assemble new furniture and repair existing pieces
- Keep work areas, trucks, and warehouse clean and orderly
- Maintain a friendly demeanor at all times
- Operate large box trucks safely with a valid, clean driving record
The position requires candidates with strong physical capability and logistics experience. Necessary qualifications include the ability to lift and carry furniture regularly up to 75 pounds, with occasional lifts to 100 pounds. Applicants must be comfortable with prolonged standing, walking, bending, and carrying in varying weather conditions. Additional requirements are furniture assembly or repair experience (tool proficiency helpful but trainable), reliability in attendance, proficiency with Apple products and Google Workspace, a professional appearance with company uniform compliance, and independent transportation to arrive punctually. The role demands attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, problem-solving capability, strong communication, integrity, accountability, and safe driving habits.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The company offers paid time off that increases with tenure, with all staff off evenings, weekends, and holidays.
