Ashley Jensen & Associates, a seven-agent real estate team based in Utah, is hiring a Social Media Content Creator and Growth Specialist in Provo, UT. This part-time role can be filled by an individual contractor or small boutique marketing agency.
The position centers on expanding the team's online footprint across Instagram, Facebook, and AI search platforms to establish Ashley Jensen & Associates as the top real estate resource found by prospects searching in Utah, Wasatch, and Salt Lake Counties on Google, social media, and generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Build and execute Instagram growth campaigns featuring local business cross-promotions, collaborations, and giveaways; track and report on follower growth metrics
- Develop and implement a strategy to increase visibility across AI search platforms and conventional search in the team's three-county service area
- Publish multiple posts daily on Facebook and Instagram, including feed content, Reels, and Stories
- Capture and produce high-quality vertical video and photography at active listings, staged homes, open houses, neighborhood tours, and team events using iPhone or DSLR cameras
- Edit Reels with attention to transitions, audio clarity, color correction, and dynamic captions
- Design and maintain a monthly content calendar balancing property showcases, buyer and seller education, community highlights, and brand lifestyle content; include architectural details, historical features, and distinctive home elements
- Apply editorial judgment to present each listing in its most polished, professional light
- Write short-form video scripts and talking points for agents; co-host or facilitate property walkthroughs and question-and-answer sessions
- Coordinate content distribution with the seven team members to amplify reach across their personal social profiles
- Engage with incoming direct messages and comments from prospective buyers, sellers, local business partners, and out-of-state relocators
- Manage Instagram and Facebook posting for the Food and Care Coalition, where the principal serves as board president; handle content formatting, scheduling, and publication
- Monitor reach, engagement, follower growth, and lead conversion; prepare reports on performance and optimization
Required qualifications and experience include the following:
- Minimum two to three years managing brand social media channels or producing short-form vertical video content, with documented evidence of growing Instagram followings; a portfolio is required
- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, plus experience with AI search visibility and generative engine optimization
- Technical proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, Instagram's native editing tools, and scheduling platforms such as Later or Metricool
- Strong visual foundation in framing, lighting, home staging aesthetics, and contemporary design trends
- Familiarity with neighborhoods across Utah, Wasatch, and Salt Lake Counties including Provo, Lehi, Alpine, and Heber
- Reliable transportation to reach property locations across the three counties for content shoots
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and real estate advertising compliance, or capacity to acquire this knowledge rapidly
Background in real estate, interior design, or lifestyle content creation is advantageous. Agencies are welcome to propose how they would deliver the full scope within the stated budget.
Compensation is $2,500 monthly, flat rate. Work is hybrid remote based in Provo, UT 84604.
