SINGHG Staging is hiring a Part-Time Home Staging Assistant / Furniture Mover in Kent, WA, with travel throughout Pierce, King, Snohomish, and Kitsap Counties. The role centers on handling the logistical side of home staging, including selecting furniture and décor from storage, transporting items to residential properties, and setting up each home for sale.
Day-to-day responsibilities include the following:
- Retrieve furniture, artwork, and décor from storage according to each project's needs
- Load and unload staging materials from trailers and vehicles
- Drive items to residential properties across King and Pierce Counties
- Place and arrange furniture and décor in designated rooms
- Assist with furniture arrangement and décor placement to prepare homes for photography and real estate viewings
- Handle and move inventory carefully to protect items from damage
- Pack, remove, and return staging materials to storage when projects finish
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in storage areas, trailers, and staging inventory
- Collaborate with the staging team to complete projects on schedule
- Follow instructions and maintain professionalism at client properties
The position requires the following qualifications:
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Valid auto insurance in Washington State and ability to provide proof
- Physical capability to lift, carry, load, and unload furniture and staging materials
- Reliable transportation to and from the meeting location
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Dependability, punctuality, and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work alone and collaboratively with a team
- Prior experience in moving, furniture delivery, warehouse work, home staging, or similar roles is preferred but not required
Hours are flexible and scheduled according to upcoming staging projects, with weekly hours varying based on project volume and size. Some projects may start in the morning, and occasional weekend availability may be needed. The position offers $20 to $22 per hour depending on experience, with potential for additional hours as the business expands.
