They are seeking a dependable Mover / Installation Specialist to join their home staging team. The candidate should pay attention to detail and be someone who can be relied on. The primary jobs of this role involve safely transporting, installing and removing furniture and décor for staged homes. The ideal candidate should be physically capable of doing the job, efficient and take pride in delivering a polished final product.
While working with them, you will be required to load and unload furniture, artwork, and accessories from trucks. The job also involves safely transporting staging inventory to and from job sites. The specialist will need to install furniture and accessories based on staging plans/design direction and assist with layout execution to make sure homes are ready for the market.
Your duties will also involve wrapping, protecting, and handling inventory to prevent damage. At the end of projects, you will be expected to break down and remove staging items. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of trucks and staging areas is also part of the job. Effective communication with team members on-site is a must. Also, the person must follow all safety protocols during lifting, loading, and transport.
They are looking for candidates who are capable of lifting 50–100 lbs regularly and have reliable transportation to job sites. The candidate must show a strong work ethic and punctuality and be able to follow directions and work efficiently in a team environment.
Experience in moving, delivery, or staging is preferred but not required. The specialist should feel comfortable working in various environments such as homes, stairs, tight spaces and should have a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Preference will be given to those with experience in home staging or interior design installs. They prefer someone who can assemble furniture and is familiar with handling and organizing inventory. Attention to detail in placement and presentation is a critical desired skill.
The pay starts from $25.00 per hour. The work takes place in person.
