Ambiance Design and Staging is hiring a Home Stager / Design Assistant in Pleasanton, CA. This part-time position offers hands-on work combining creativity and organization to transform residential spaces into appealing, inviting environments.
The role involves supporting staging projects throughout the Bay Area. Day-to-day tasks include styling rooms with furniture, artwork, pillows, bedding, plants, and decorative accessories. The position holder will contribute to decisions about which furniture and decor pieces suit each space best, arrange beds with pillows and complementary items, and help select pieces for upcoming projects. Additional responsibilities include maintaining decor inventory in the warehouse, restocking items to proper locations after staging pickups, and preparing materials for upcoming installations. The assistant will ensure homes are clean, styled, and camera-ready for photographs and showings.
Candidates should possess an interest in interior design, home staging, or home decor. Required qualifications include a strong eye for design and meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with current design trends is advantageous. Prior experience in interior design, staging, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. The candidate must be organized and reliable, capable of working efficiently both independently and collaboratively. Physical capability to lift and carry decor items is essential. A positive outlook and openness to learning are important. Legal authorization to work in the United States and the ability to provide documentation upon hire are required. English language proficiency is preferred. The position is based in Pleasanton, CA 94566 and requires in-person work.
This role offers compensation of $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.
