Aura Home Staging is hiring a Home Stager in Hayward, CA. This boutique firm serves the San Francisco Bay Area with modern, elegant, and neutral interior styling that helps properties sell faster. The position starts as part-time with potential to expand into a full-time role based on performance and business growth.
The Home Stager will execute staging projects from conception to completion, working alongside the creative director and design team. The role combines design execution, hands-on logistics, and on-site coordination to deliver polished results for each property.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Execute staging assignments from start to finish, collaborating with team members throughout the process
- Develop cohesive and stylish staging layouts that highlight each property's strengths and attract target buyers
- Follow staging plans and direction from lead stagers or designers to ensure smooth and efficient execution
- Select and organize furniture, artwork, and accessories from the company's inventory or external vendors as needed
- Inspect completed staging work to confirm it meets the company's design standards and quality expectations
- Address on-site problems and adjust plans quickly when circumstances shift
- Coordinate logistics including furniture delivery, installation, and project setup
- Oversee or support the removal and packing of staging items, verifying proper storage and returns
- Maintain regular communication with the creative director and design staff regarding trends and client requirements
- Support the upkeep and organization of inventory to keep all staging materials in top condition
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in home staging, interior design, or related field
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Strong aesthetic sense and knowledge of home decor and interior design
- Capability to lift, carry, and move furnishings and boxes up to approximately 50 pounds
- Resourceful problem-solving skills and solid time management abilities
- Capacity to manage stress and meet compressed timelines
- Positive interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, and solid work ethic
- Reliable attendance and careful attention to detail
- Willingness to accommodate variable scheduling, including early starts, late finishes, and last-minute project changes
- Ability to travel between multiple locations throughout the day as needed
Desirable but optional skills include additional staging or design background, basic tool proficiency or furniture assembly experience, and social media or content creation abilities.
Compensation is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience, with room for advancement as the company grows. The position offers scheduling flexibility. Applicants must be prepared to work variable hours aligned with client needs and real estate timelines, commute between different properties, and remain accessible for urgent schedule adjustments.
