Home Staging Designer

Surfside Staging is hiring a Home Staging Designer in San Diego, CA. This is a part-time position with potential to transition into full-time work based on performance and experience.

The role blends creative design with hands-on execution. The designer will assist in styling homes using furniture, artwork, rugs, lighting, and accessories to enhance market appeal. Daily tasks include packing and unpacking staging materials, installing décor at properties throughout San Diego County, preparing inventory at the warehouse, hanging artwork with precision, and maintaining organization of staging accessories. The designer will also collaborate with the installation team and participate in staging consultations to support design planning.

Required qualifications include experience in home staging, interior design, visual merchandising, or a related design field. The candidate must have a strong design eye with the ability to plan spaces effectively. Physical requirements include the capacity to lift décor bins and accessories weighing up to 30 pounds. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential, as the position requires working at various properties throughout San Diego County. The successful candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator with solid teamwork skills.

Bonus experience in social media marketing (Instagram, real estate content), sales, or client relationships with real estate professionals may create opportunities for expanded responsibilities within the company.
