Part-Time Furniture Mover / Home Stager

True Legacy Homes is hiring a Part-Time Furniture Mover and Home Stager in Irvine, CA. The company specializes in home renovation, estate sale services, and life transition solutions for families. This hands-on position involves preparing estate sale homes during the week for weekend sales by moving, arranging, and staging furniture and household items to create visually appealing displays.

Responsibilities include:

• Move and stage furniture and household items within estate sale homes
• Arrange and set up furniture and décor to create organized, visually appealing layouts
• Safely lift, carry, and transport items, including antiques and delicate pieces
• Drive company vehicles to transport items to donation centers or storage as needed
• Support the estate sale team with general setup and breakdown tasks throughout the week

Requirements include:

• Valid Driver's License with a clean record (no DUI, reckless driving, or felony driving within the last 7 years)
• Reliable personal transportation
• At least 2 years of experience in moving, staging, or furniture handling
• Knowledge of proper techniques for packing, handling, and moving furniture, antiques, and artwork
• High level of integrity
• Strong ability to safely lift, move, and transport small to large items
• Dependability and ability to work Monday through Friday
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Clear and effective communication
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and physical

This part-time position typically ranges from 16 to 26 hours per week, with schedules published one week in advance. The role involves frequent travel to and from various locations within Orange County and occasionally to neighboring counties. Work may expose employees to dirt, dust, fumes, loud noise, or chemicals. Employees must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and may occasionally require prolonged periods of sitting, walking, and standing.

Compensation is $17.50 to $20.25 per hour, with overtime eligibility. Part-time benefits include mileage reimbursement, a $15 monthly cell phone allowance, and 40 hours of paid sick leave.
