Staging Mover

Ambiance Design and Staging is hiring a Staging Mover in Pleasanton, CA. This part-time position involves furniture deliveries, staging installations, and pickups throughout the Bay Area. The role centers on hands-on work including vehicle operation, furniture handling, and warehouse management.

Key responsibilities include the following:

• Operate company box trucks and staging vehicles to transport goods to and from job sites
• Load and unload furniture, artwork, rugs, and staging inventory from vehicles
• Deliver and position furniture in rooms according to staging specifications
• Assist with complete staging installations and pickup operations
• Move furniture vertically through homes, navigating stairs and multiple levels as needed
• Install artwork, mirrors, and wall decorations in staged spaces
• Perform basic patching and minor handyman work when required
• Position and place furniture throughout homes safely and carefully
• Transport furniture, artwork, and staging materials back to warehouse storage
• Store items, including placement on upper shelving, in appropriate warehouse locations
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Prepare inventory and furnishings for upcoming staging assignments
• Follow staging plans and direction provided by the design team
• Be available for scheduled staging projects and pickup dates

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Current, valid driver's license with a clean driving history
• Experience or comfort operating medium-sized box trucks
• Physical capability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy furniture
• Ability to move furniture through multi-level homes, including up and down stairs
• Capacity to safely lift and store furniture and inventory on upper warehouse shelving
• Prior experience in home staging, furniture moving, warehousing, or comparable fields preferred
• Good spatial awareness and understanding of design principles
• Familiarity with artwork installation and basic carpentry skills
• Dependability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
• Careful attention to detail in handling and transporting furnishings
• Valid work authorization in the United States with documentation available at hire
• Fluency in English
• Commercial Driver's License required

The position offers $20.00 to $25.00 per hour and requires in-person work in Pleasanton, CA.
