Times Ten Design, a family-owned high-end home staging company serving the Denver metro area, is hiring a Home Staging Mover, Driver & Installer in Denver, CO. This role blends physical moving work with furniture assembly, artwork installation, and truck operation. The position involves transporting home staging inventory between the warehouse and client properties throughout the greater Denver area, with careful handling of furniture and client homes consistently prioritized.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Loading, unloading, and safely transporting sofas, tables, beds, chairs, artwork, rugs, and other staging inventory
- Maneuvering heavy furniture up and down stairs and through tight spaces while protecting walls, floors, and doorways
- Strategically loading box trucks to maximize space and protect items in transit
- Operating company box trucks and vehicles throughout the Denver metro
- Assembling and disassembling furniture pieces, beds, shelving, and tables
- Hanging, measuring, leveling, and installing artwork and wall decor accurately and securely
- Using drills, levels, tape measures, and hand tools to complete installation tasks
- Troubleshooting and making minor furniture adjustments and repairs on site
- Assisting with complete home installations and de-staging projects
- Retrieving, returning, and organizing inventory in the warehouse
- Maintaining trucks, tools, warehouse areas, and inventory in organized, clean condition
- Working efficiently with the team to maintain project timelines
Requirements and qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Comfort driving box trucks
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the warehouse
- Capacity for physically demanding work over extended periods
- Monday through Friday availability between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM
- Ability to use basic power tools and hand tools
- Furniture assembly and artwork hanging skills
- Prior experience in moving, furniture delivery, warehouse operations, construction, installation, handyman work, maintenance, or home staging is preferred
The schedule runs Monday through Friday with no weekend work, between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM. Hours vary from approximately 25 to 40 per week depending on staging demand, with most weeks at or near 40 hours. Daily start and end times fluctuate based on the staging schedule and current workload. The position is seasonal, with reduced hours during winter and the holiday period. Pay starts at $24 per hour during a 30-day introductory period, then increases to $26 per hour upon successful completion contingent on performance. The hiring process consists of an initial Zoom interview, an in-person interview to meet the team and tour the warehouse, and a paid working interview where selected candidates demonstrate moving ability, efficiency, attention to detail, and teamwork. Successful candidates must complete a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening before starting employment.
