This company is in need of a dedicated and meticulous Designer to become a part of their home staging team. The suitable candidate will be one who is creative yet extremely organized. They should also showcase strong leadership qualities and a strong appetite for beautiful and functional spaces. The Designer will be responsible for organizing the staging design process from handling warehouse inventory to execution on site. They will manage the design team and spearhead our social media extension.

Part of their duties will be designing and overseeing projects. This includes developing design plans for staging projects founded on the property style, layout, and target market. They will supervise all staging phases to ensure design consistency and quality. They are charged with coordinating with movers and the warehouse team to share logistic and inventory needs. They will inspect and review the items in the warehouse to sustain quality, trace damages, and arrange for repairs or replacements. The Designer will choose furniture, accessories, and artwork for upcoming stagings, ensuring all pieces are prepared for photography. They should be comfortable with filming video content during staging installations. This means they should be able to capture behind-the-scenes footage, styling walkthroughs, and short-form content that showcases our design work and reinforces our brand presence on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

Their leadership role will require them to guide junior designers in achieving timelines, aesthetics, and brand standards. They will oversee each staging project by offering design direction and guidance. They are also required to check in with the Admin lead regarding arrival and departure times.

They will have duties related to warehouse coordination. This role requires them to consistently be in the warehouse to help with inventory planning. They will assist in preparing stages and aid movers with understanding project needs. Their role also includes maintaining an organized and efficient workflow between the Design and Administration Lead.

The suitable candidate will have at least three years of experience in home staging, interior design, or a related field. They should be proficient in applying scale, proportion, and trend-forward design sensibilities. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities are required to multitask projects. They should also be confident in using social media platforms, especially Instagram, for brand storytelling and audience engagement. Prospects should be proficient in Google Workspace, Canva, Pinterest, and basic photo editing applications. They should be self-starters who are thrived in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Being able to lift light items and assist during stage setups as needed is also crucial. They need a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
