They are seeking a dependable and meticulous Furniture Mover to facilitate their home staging processes. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and proficient transfer of furniture and décor from their storage facilities to staging locations. Individuals with physical stamina, a focus on safety, and a strong ability at handling high-end furnishings conscientiously and expertly are desired.

The Furniture Mover’s captivating role entails safely ferrying furniture and staging materials to and fro between the warehouse and customer homes. The chosen candidate is required to be adept at loading and unloading trucks, ensuring items remain stable and unharmed.

Additionally, conducting equipment and vehicle checks before embarking on trips to assure safety and readiness is vital to the role. The individual will be expected to drive company vehicles while adhering strictly to all traffic rules and safety regulations.

A strong understanding and application of proper weight distribution is essential to averting item shift or damage while in transit. Additionally, keep track of inventory movement as well as storage locations by employing company systems.

Ensuring all furnishings and equipment are suitably wrapped, safeguarded, and stored when not in use will also be part of the duties. The role will also necessitate keeping trucks, the warehouse, and work areas tidy and orderly. Following design plans to assist in setting up and breaking down staging on-site is also a responsibility. Clear communication with team leads and managers regarding logistics, timing, or issues during transport and set up is crucial.

Necessary requirements for this role include prior experience in home staging, warehouse operations, delivery, or moving. The ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 100 lbs. throughout the workday is imperative. A valid driver’s license with a clean record is also required, while commercial driver's license is an added advantage.

Comfort with navigating residential neighborhoods and driving box trucks is desired. Strong problems solving, organizational, and communication skills are also prerequisites. The chosen candidate must display punctuality, reliability, and a professional demeanor. Availability from Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm, with flexibility for extended hours when called for, is imperative.

This is a full-time role that offers $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. This role includes benefits such as paid training and operates on a day shift from Monday to Friday. The job takes place in person.
