OASIS STAGING + DESIGN is hiring a Home Staging Assistant (part-time) in Honolulu, HI. This role supports the staging team in preparing homes for sale by assisting with furniture and accessory selection, delivery, placement, and packing operations both at client homes and the warehouse.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with stagers to select furniture and accessories, pack items, and transport them to the pre-staging area
- Help deliver accessories to homes, unload boxes, unpack materials, iron fabrics, collapse boxes, and manage packing materials
- Participate in staging by assisting with furniture placement and accessory arrangement, and providing support wherever needed
- Return to the warehouse to retrieve missing items or return unused inventory
- Pack pillows, clear furniture surfaces, pack accessories and bedding, remove wall art, patch nail holes, and clean spaces as needed
- Transport accessories back to the warehouse, unpack, and organize inventory
- Track the location and condition of items to maintain inventory records
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Assemble basic furniture such as dining tables, chairs, console tables, media stands, and bed frames
- Place online orders for office supplies, staging, and design materials
- Shop in-store for needed inventory and process returns
- Photograph and record short video clips during installs and consultations for internal and social media purposes
Schedule and Availability:
- Part-time, on-call work available 2-5 days per week
- Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work
- Hours fall within a 7am-2pm timeframe
- Schedule varies based on project needs; busier during spring and summer, lighter in fall and winter
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid Hawaii driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and resourcefulness
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team
- Comfortable driving across the island to various project locations
- Staging or design experience is preferred but not required
The role includes a one-month trial period during which both the employer and employee will assess whether the fit is right.
