Home Staging Assistant

Rentquest LLC is hiring a Home Staging Assistant in New York, NY 10018 on a part-time basis. The position involves hands-on work preparing, installing, maintaining, and dismantling residential staging projects throughout New York City.

• Assist with furniture deliveries and installation of staging projects
• Place furniture, artwork, rugs, and décor accessories in client homes
• Organize and prepare furniture and accessories for upcoming projects
• Organize and label inventory by item, size, color, and category
• Inspect furniture and décor for damage or wear and report issues to management
• Pack, wrap, and store furniture and accessories properly
• Ensure staging inventory is returned to proper locations after projects
• Assist with staging breakdowns and furniture returns
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of inventory
• Follow project instructions and staging plans carefully
• Maintain a professional appearance while working in client homes
• Communicate effectively with the staging and design team
• Take photos of completed installations and inventory as requested
• Perform additional staging, warehouse, and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications include prior experience in home staging, interior design, moving, hospitality, or related fields (preferred but not required). Candidates should be highly organized with strong attention to detail, reliable, and punctual. Physical capability is essential, as the work is physically active. Applicants must be comfortable working in residential buildings and apartments throughout NYC and willing to travel within the tri-state area. Strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines, and capacity to follow direction while being proactive are important. A positive, can-do attitude and genuine interest in interiors, furniture, and design are expected.
