NOSO Design House is hiring a Design & Operations Assistant in Charlotte, NC. This part-time position supports the business owners across both interior design and luxury home staging operations, handling a wide range of administrative, project coordination, and operational tasks.
The assistant provides day-to-day support to ownership spanning business, project, and administrative needs, with personal assistant responsibilities adjusted based on candidate capabilities and company needs. Specific daily tasks include:
- Support interior design and home staging projects from initial planning through completion
- Coordinate staging installations, removals, renewals, scheduling, inventory, and logistics
- Assist with furniture, lighting, accessories, and materials sourcing and selection
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, builders, real estate agents, and project partners
- Request and compile quotes, pricing, product specifications, lead times, and sample materials
- Create and maintain organized project files, schedules, specifications, proposals, and documentation
- Prepare client presentations, proposals, invoices, and project materials
- Monitor project progress and follow up on outstanding details
- Arrange deliveries, receiving, installations, site visits, and other project logistics
- Maintain organized systems for samples, materials, and studio inventory
- Handle general office and administrative responsibilities
- Support marketing, events, and business development initiatives
- Travel occasionally to Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach markets for site visits, installations, and interior design projects

Previous experience in interior design firms, home staging, architecture, luxury residential construction, project coordination, or related design environments is beneficial but not required. Strong proficiency with Canva, Microsoft Office, and general business software is preferred, along with solid computer skills and ability to learn new systems. Familiarity with social media platforms is valuable for assisting with marketing and content coordination. The position offers exposure to all operational aspects of a growing interior design and home staging company, including client service, sourcing, project coordination, logistics, and business administration.
Compensation ranges from $22 to $26 per hour.
