Home Staging Northwest is hiring a Home Stager in the Portland Metro area, Beaverton, Oregon. The role focuses on creating compelling staged environments that help residential properties attract buyers and sell faster. This is a hands-on position that blends design sensibility with physical labor, warehouse management, and teamwork.
The Home Stager will partner with the Lead Stager to build and execute staging strategies customized for each property. Day-to-day work includes selecting and placing furniture, artwork, accessories, and décor; staging both occupied and vacant homes; installing and removing staged items; organizing and maintaining the company's warehouse inventory; and preparing furnishings and accessories for upcoming assignments. The role also involves coordinating with warehouse, logistics, and project management staff to ensure smooth operations and project completion.
- Develop staging plans alongside the Lead Stager
- Choose and position furniture, artwork, accessories, and décor to enhance property appeal
- Stage occupied and vacant residential properties
- Install and remove staging materials from homes
- Transport, move, and arrange furniture and décor as directed
- Maintain warehouse inventory records and organization
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and fully functional
- Ready staging supplies and furnishings for new projects
- Handle staging inventory with proper care and attention
- Communicate and collaborate across warehouse, logistics, and project teams
Candidates should have prior experience in home staging or interior design. The position requires a strong sense of design principles including color, proportion, and spatial arrangement. Additional qualifications include solid organizational abilities, attention to detail, capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, and the physical capability to regularly lift, carry, and move furniture and décor. An interior design degree or coursework and familiarity with warehouse management systems are preferred. This position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day in both warehouse and residential settings.
