Logistics Associate

Salt + Pine, an award-winning home staging company in Rhode Island, is hiring a Logistics Associate in West Warwick, RI. This physically demanding position focuses on warehouse and inventory management while supporting the installation of staging designs across the region.

The Logistics Associate handles a range of hands-on warehouse duties that directly support staging projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain safety protocols by keeping walkways clear and ensuring electrical panels remain unblocked
• Organize warehouse space and manage inventory items systematically
• Select and pack staging inventory for upcoming installations
• Load and unload furniture and décor items for job sites
• Wrap and secure furniture to protect it during transport
• Participate in setup and breakdown of staging installations at properties
• Operate a moving truck (no commercial driver's license required)
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Track inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Ensure the staging equipment bag is clean, organized, and fully stocked before each day ends
• Complete end-of-day checks to confirm aisles, loading areas, and trucks are free of debris
• Unpack and shelve all new deliveries
• Lock up the facility at close of business
• Attend weekly meetings with ownership and warehouse staff

The successful candidate will bring strong foundational skills in time management, attention to detail, basic math, and practical problem-solving. This person communicates clearly with colleagues, manages multiple tasks while meeting deadlines, and maintains consistency in attendance and punctuality. The role requires comfort working alongside a team, receptiveness to feedback, and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Physical demands include regularly lifting or moving up to 75 pounds independently and frequently team-lifting items weighing up to 200 pounds. The position involves spending roughly half the day in a stationary position (sitting or standing) and half moving throughout the warehouse or property. The associate will use computer and tablet tools, move inventory on shelves, climb ladders to access higher storage areas, and navigate stairs at job sites. Work occurs primarily in a warehouse environment with occasional outdoor exposure, moderate noise levels, and periodic exposure to warm or humid conditions and mechanical equipment.

A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and clearance to operate vehicles up to 26 feet in length are required. The position is based in West Warwick, RI 02893 and requires in-person attendance. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds or more regularly.
