Furniture Mover

Pragmatic Staging is hiring Furniture Movers in Chantilly, VA. This privately held home staging company serves the greater Washington, D.C. area and specializes in high-quality staging for residential and multifamily properties. Movers are integral to the operation, handling the physical work of transporting, setting up, and managing furniture and décor at properties preparing for market.

Responsibilities include:

• Load, unload, and transport furniture, artwork, décor, and staging materials between trucks, warehouse, and residential job sites
• Position furniture and staging items according to direction from the staging team
• Protect all furniture, walls, floors, and client properties during movement and installation
• Wrap, pad, and secure furniture appropriately to prevent damage
• Handle furniture pickup, removal, and relocation between multiple properties
• Organize, maintain, and return furniture and décor inventory to warehouse storage areas
• Prepare and organize trucks with inventory for daily project schedules
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and staging teams to meet project timelines
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the warehouse and on job sites
• Adhere to company safety protocols and equipment procedures
• Deliver professional service while working in client homes and properties

Qualifications and requirements:

• Background in moving, furniture delivery, warehouse work, or general labor (preferred)
• Capacity to lift, carry, and move heavy furniture and materials safely
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and sustain physical effort throughout an entire shift
• Strong collaboration skills and clear communication with coworkers
• Reliable attendance and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Careful, conscientious handling of furniture and client property
• Meets project deadlines consistently
• Valid driver's license; experience operating a moving truck is a plus
• Must be able to commute to Chantilly, VA
• Willing to work on-site at the warehouse and at various properties across the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region
