Warehouse Logistics Supervisor

Impressive Home Staging is hiring a Warehouse Logistics Supervisor in Virginia Beach, VA. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing inventory, warehouse operations and a team of logistics staff at an award-winning, high-volume staging company that stages 300+ vacant homes annually and has been recognized as Best Home Staging Company in Coastal Virginia from 2017-2026 and as a Top 10 Professional Home Staging Company nationally in 2021-2022.

The Warehouse Logistics Supervisor manages three primary areas: inventory accuracy and flow, warehouse operations and logistics coordination, and leadership of the Logistics Assistant team. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Managing the movement of furniture, artwork and accessories throughout the warehouse while communicating with the logistics team
• Working with the Operations Manager to schedule resources, trucks and routes efficiently
• Leading daily team huddles to communicate priorities and assignments
• Pulling and preparing inventory for staging projects while maximizing truck loading efficiency and preventing damage
• Safely operating a 20+ foot box truck and maintaining an excellent driving record
• Transporting furniture and décor to staging locations and managing safe unloading and placement at job sites
• Overseeing the pack-up and return process, including shrink-wrapping items and loading trucks for warehouse return
• Managing the fleet of vehicles and ensuring maintenance and safety schedules are followed
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organized and efficient
• Receiving, verifying and properly storing incoming furniture and décor deliveries
• Assembling, repairing and refurbishing furniture and décor as needed
• Training, managing and holding the logistics team accountable for safety, efficiency and proper inventory handling
• Analyzing operational incidents to identify root causes and recommend improvements
• Developing and implementing safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Attending weekly leadership meetings and participating in operational problem-solving
• Cross-training in inventory management and light administrative tasks

Requirements include strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, dependability, excellent communication ability, leadership capability with team motivation, teamwork orientation, creative problem-solving, and the ability to multitask. The candidate must have experience supervising and managing employees, plus background in moving, logistics, warehousing or a related field. Physical requirements include safely lifting 50+ pounds, comfortable working in warehouse environments with varying temperatures, ability to drive a 20+ foot box truck, valid driver's license and reliable transportation, and travel throughout the Hampton Roads area. Employment is based out of the Virginia Beach office and warehouse location.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week, with occasional flexibility required based on staging projects and operational needs. Compensation ranges from $27 to $31 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
