Lead Home Stager

Lavender & Birch Home Staging & Design is hiring a Lead Home Stager in Mukwonago, WI. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional schedule flexibility as needed.

The Lead Stager takes charge of vacant home staging projects from beginning to end, selecting and positioning furniture, artwork, accessories, and decorative pieces to create spaces buyers find appealing and market-ready. The role combines design decision-making with hands-on execution, including loading, unloading, moving, and installing furnishings and décor. The Lead Stager directs crew members on-site, ensures staging installations and removals stay on schedule and meet company quality standards, and manages warehouse and truck organization and cleanliness. Communication with homeowners, real estate agents, and team members is an important part of the job, as is monitoring inventory condition and assisting with warehouse operations.

Candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:

• Strong sense of interior design, including color theory, spatial scale, and furniture arrangement
• Previous experience in home staging, interior design, visual merchandising, or similar field (preferred)
• Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to direct a crew during staging work
• Physical capability to lift and carry furniture weighing 50 pounds or more and sustain physically demanding activity throughout the workday
• Solid organizational and time-management abilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Self-directed approach to work and the ability to make independent decisions while on-site
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred)
