Moving Lead

LynneMark Home Staging is hiring a Moving Lead in Port Washington, WI. The role involves supervising and training crew members during staging, de-staging, and warehouse projects while managing the safe handling and placement of furniture and décor in residential properties throughout the area.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise and lead staff during all staging, de-staging, and warehouse operations
• Delegate work tasks and monitor crew productivity and adherence to safety standards
• Train new hires on moving procedures, furniture care, staging expectations, and safety protocols
• Provide regular coaching and performance feedback to team members
• Handle furniture and décor with appropriate care and protection
• Perform quality inspections at each property prior to departure
• Verify all items are accounted for and returned to designated warehouse sections
• Report project status, obstacles, and concerns to supervisors
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and company vehicles
• Enforce all company safety rules and procedures
• Address team performance issues and escalate concerns to management
• Model professionalism, dependability, and positive conduct
• Participate in loading and unloading furniture and décor as needed
• Complete other assigned tasks

Required qualifications and experience:

• Background in moving operations, furniture handling, warehouse management, home staging, or team leadership roles
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Dependable, punctual, and maintains professional standards
• Capacity to coach and inspire team performance
• Physical capability to safely lift and move heavy furniture
• Valid driver's license

The position is physically active and demanding, requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving of furniture and materials. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30am to approximately 4:30pm, with some variations in daily length. Spring, summer, and fall typically involve 35 or more hours per week, while winter months range from 25 to 35 hours weekly. Schedule flexibility is essential.
