Home Stager

XO Staging is hiring an experienced Home Stager for part-time work in the San Jose area. This established Bay Area home staging company prepares both vacant and occupied residential properties for sale by styling them to appeal to buyers.

The role involves staging properties by selecting and positioning furniture, artwork, rugs, lighting, and decorative accessories. Stagers work with existing furnishings when applicable to create unified, attractive interiors. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with other stagers and moving crews during installations, handling styling and final touches, and maintaining staging inventory in good condition and well-organized. Projects must be completed efficiently while meeting XO Staging's design standards. During peak real estate months, the team typically completes 2 to 3 projects daily.

Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year of professional home staging experience. Required skills and attributes include strong knowledge of furniture placement, color coordination, scale, and interior styling; the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail; and reliable transportation throughout the Bay Area.

The position offers $35 to $45 per hour based on experience. Hours vary throughout the year according to scheduled staging jobs, with flexible scheduling available. The company offers 401(k) benefits to eligible employees.
