Delivery Driver (Box Truck) - Home Furniture

Meridith Baer Home is hiring a Delivery Driver (Box Truck) in Milford, CT. With over 20 years of experience in home staging and interior design, the company partners with homeowners, developers, and real estate agents to enhance properties and support faster sales at higher prices.

The role centers on safe and efficient vehicle operation, managing furniture deliveries, and supporting crew tasks. Key responsibilities include:

• Operate a box truck safely and maintain a current, valid driver's license in good standing
• Oversee the loading and unloading of furniture and inventory
• Complete deliveries within scheduled timeframes and navigate to locations using GPS and navigation apps
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report maintenance issues promptly
• Serve as a crew member on site when not actively driving
• Follow all company policies, transportation laws, and safety protocols
• Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, and coworkers
• Guide and support less experienced team members as needed

The position requires the following qualifications and abilities:

• Valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience
• Strong navigation skills and ability to use GPS and mapping applications
• Physical capability to lift, load, and unload furniture and packages weighing 60 pounds or more
• Time management and organizational ability to track multiple deliveries and maintain punctuality
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Commitment to safe work practices and daily attendance

New York driving experience is strongly preferred. The role is full-time and based in Milford, CT, with in-person work required.
